Boasting warm and mild weather all year round, Tuscany really is a dreamy destination. The height of summer can get too hot for some in the midday sun. So if you prefer slightly cooler temperatures, perhaps book for spring or autumn dates for a more comfortable ride.

Dusty, hilly, and rolling. The roads run beautifully through Italy's interior with tough climbs and fun descents to tackle. Hot summer days really do kick up the dust. Don't forget your glasses and a face covering if you are normally at the back of the peloton!

Towards the towers of medieval Manhattan
From Brunello’s estate to the towers of San Gimignano, It has two towers, the Salvucci Towers – built by the rich Salvucci family, of course to show off their power and wealth, they had to be trimmed down later as they exceeded the maximum allowed height of 52 m. Today, the towers are open for visits and you can even stay in one of them. one of the finest examples of late-medieval Tuscan urban architecture, known as the ancient Manhattan.

Today you will traverse the legendary Chianti Classico territories, which, according to the legend of the black rooster, were crossed at dawn at a gallop by the knight of Florence, in the challenge launched with the city of Siena to put an end to the disputes and establish a definitive border between the two rival cities. Today, Chianti Classico is the trademark of a wine production specification, unquestionably one of the most famous in the world, with a logo that features the legendary black rooster. A 300-year history that began in 1716, when Cosimo III, Grand Duke of Tuscany, established the boundaries of the Chianti wine production area.
