The Triglav, Dolomites and Stelvio Tour traverses the Alpine arc from east to west across 7 days. You’ll ride some of the most incredible roads in the Italian Alps that most cyclists only dream about, add 675 km to your mileage, and climb a hair-raising 9,000 metres along the way.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Dolomites offer mountain-scapes and panoramic views that take your breath away, such as the Triglav National Park in Slovenia, the Julian and Carnic Alps and the Ortles mountain range.

A UNESCO destination that truly lives up to its reputation – this alpine spine of Europe covers diverse terrain, offers jaw-dropping views, and offers a challenge for every road cyclist. Taking on the Dolomites and Italian Alps should be done at least once in everyone's life. Over seven days, you will pass between Slovenia and Italy, ride on the edge of Switzerland, and see across to Austria. Breathtaking is an understatement.

    Prepare well for your chosen season. The climate is moderate with highs of around 15ºC with mountain conditions, mostly sunny and clear skies. Winter months can see snow and get close to 0ºC.

  • Terrain

    A mix of fearsome and inviting terrain — there is something for everyone here. Take on the rugged terrain of the mountains for a real test of your fitness and skills, or opt for the more gentle passes and explore the area.

  • Culture

    This tour dips in and out of several cultural regions. Italian, Slovene, Tyrolian, Austrian – you'll experience it all! All along the route, there are crossovers in folklore, cuisine, and culture from all the bordering nations.

Accommodation during your tour

Comfortable 2-3* Hotels and Guesthouses

Each night we’ll sleep in a different 2 or 3 star hotel or guesthouse along our route, all of which offer a very pleasant stay after a full day of riding. We choose the accommodation based on its location and proximity to the start and end of each route and each location includes secure bike storage facilities so you can focus on some well-deserved R&R.

A support vehicle will be assisting us for the entire trip to move your bags and belongings safely between each location.



All Meals Included

This seven day tour includes all breakfasts, picnic lunches, and dinners from a 3 to 4 course menu, so all you need to decide is what to drink with each meal. We also recommend you bring your favourite gels and energy bars in case you need a mid-ride boost.

It’s not always easy travelling with a bike but fear not, high quality carbon bikes are available for rental for the duration of the tour. To make sure you get the maximum from your bike for your trip, we’ve partnered with some of the best brands in cycling to give you the latest choice of equipment.

With a variety of sizes available, we can ensure your bike fits you perfectly.  All rental bikes are mechanically checked and adjusted before each and every hire so you can have peace of mind that your bike will be running smoothly from start to finish!

An Electric Road Bike is also available to rent.
