Tour overview

Refreshing two-wheeled adventure in the UK

This tour is full of contrasts from one side of Suffolk to the other. From Constable Country and the rolling Stour Valley on the Essex border, wind through country lanes to explore West Suffolk’s famous wool towns like Long Melford and half-timbered idyll, Lavenham. Take a look at the eccentric rotunda stately home at Ickworth – currently a fascinating restoration project – and enjoy its gardens and parklands en route to historic Bury St Edmunds.

As you get closer to the flat fertile edges of Norfolk, the skies seem somehow even bigger and bluer. The Bloom family’s famous Bressingham Gardens are huge and colourful too, a real treat before pedalling back through some more of Suffolk’s precious village gems like Eye and Debenham.

Tour destination

Suffolk - UK

Suffolk is a UK gem tucked away on the East coast. As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the region has many route options that weave through coastal towns situated on the National Cycling Network. The Suffolk Coast and countryside offer year-round cycling for everyone. The roads tend to be quiet and the way of life is even quieter! When the sun is shining, there really is no better place to explore by road bike.
