Natural Beauty
This tour covers beautiful landscapes including sweeping Pyrenean foothills and epic inland mountain roads. Whichever route you choose, you’ll be in awe of this area’s natural beauty.
Scale the mighty mountain passes of the Spanish and French Pyrenees on this five-day group tour. Follow in the tyre tracks of the pros and challenge yourself to this epic adventure as you climb many of the legendary cols featured in The Tour de France and La Vuelta de España each year.
RIDE LIKE THE PROS OVER THIS LEGENDARY LANDSCAPE
If you relish a challenge, love road cycling and are not afraid of heights, the Pyrenees are what you’ve been waiting for. During this intense and fully supported cycling tour, we will take on some of the toughest passes, many of which feature in the Tour de France, the most famous cycling race in history.
Join this cycling camp and climb mythical passes such as the Tourmalet, Col d’Aspin, Pierre de Saint Martin, Marie Blanque, Aubisque, Soulor or the Añisclo Canyon, all in just four days of enjoyment and maximum effort. There are no time limits. Unlike the World Tours, this is not a competition. It is your opportunity to enjoy the land and the people you will meet on the way. The group will travel together, but each rider will be encouraged to find their own pace up the climbs to reach the summit comfortably and still be able to continue for the rest of the stage.
You will be accompanied by a support vehicle at all times, driven by a mechanic who can help you solve any issues with your bike. He will also help you re-fuel by providing you with food and drink when you need it. Your luggage will also travel with you so that you can wrap up warm before the descents, or shed layers of clothing if you have wrapped up too warm.

Stretching from the shores of the Med across Spain and France to the Bay of Biscay, the Pyrenees are some of the most impressive mountains in the world. Their sharp peaks rise high into the clouds, a natural border between neighbouring countries, reaching a staggering 3,404 metres at some points and offering road cyclists incredible opportunities to conquer epic climbs.
The climate is moderate with mostly sunny conditions, clear skies and highs of around 15ºC on the high peaks. The winter months can bring snow and temperatures that drop to below 0ºC.
Take on the rugged terrain for a real test of your fitness and skills. This tour includes some of the region’s most legendary climbs, so make sure you get some training in before your trip.
The Spanish and French Pyrenees Mountains have an incredibly rich culture and epic history, and the locals are proud to share it with visitors. Seven languages are spoken in the area, including Catalan, over 5 million people’s mother tongue.
Our first route of the tour will leave Jaca and head to Bielle, a small French village nestled in the Pyrenees amidst green landscapes and forests. The route involves climbing the Somport and Marie Blanche mountain passes, two key stages of the well-known Quebrantahuesos cycling tour.
