Tour overview

The spectacular Tuscan countryside awaits

This fantastic seven-day road bike tour starts in the wonderful town of Siena, travels over the spectacular Tuscan countryside before crossing the Mediterranean to the island of Elba, Italy’s third largest island after Sardinia and Sicily.

We’ll cycle over the region’s green undulating landscape, from Tuscany’s vineyards down to the Mediterranean Sea, before exploring Elba during two full days of cycling. Experience the landscape from within and discover the sights and smells of each unique area from the saddle of a bike. What better way to immerse yourself in nature and in the local culture.

As part of the Classic Tuscan Experience tour, you’ll stay in fantastic hotels and eat at carefully selected restaurants known near and far for their incredible cuisine. It is the perfect opportunity not only to discover local food and wine, but also to fuel up for each day on the bike. The Tuscany Discovery tour is best enjoyed out of the peak season in spring and autumn, when the roads are quieter and the days are not as hot. The tour is divided into stages, which are best suited to cyclists with an intermediate level of training. But rest assured that you will be accompanied throughout the trip by a minibus and our expert guides, in case any unforeseen issues arise.

Tour destination

Tuscany is at the top of many road cyclists’ bucket list. It is a dream riding location given its long empty roads that sweep across undulating countryside, and some of the Strade Bianche routes come along these very roads. It is home to world famous cities such as Florence and Pisa, as well as countless romantic Renaissance villages, perched atop the hills and mountains overlooking the vast green countryside below. We’ve planned this tour in order to show you the best of the best of Tuscany and the island of Elba, the largest of the Tuscan archipelago.
