TOP NOTCH PLAYGROUND
Costa Blanca and towns like Denia and Calpe is on the radar of any serious road cyclist. And it is for a reason that during winter and spring months pro teams are flocking here to put in the miles. Combination of mild climate and large network of secondary roads in perfect condition made it top of the list. Another important feature is variety of terrain, so you can train with mountains and flats. In the evenings it’s cool to stall down the sea promenade and eat out at a good restaurant – a superb addition to make a great cycling retreat of any kind.

Beyond the sun and the beach, the Costa Blanca has become an international reference for the practice of a wide variety of sports. It is an ideal destination for everyone, but especially for sport lovers. The bicycle, in any of the options we propose here is the perfect vehicle to enter the heart of the province of Alicante. What we offer for cyclists who want to visit our land are mythical ports, endless paths and continuously improved biking infrastructures combined with traditional Mediterranean cuisine, tradition and cultural richness.
Mild weather all round permits to ride non-stop. It gets hot in the summer but the winter are very gentle with not too much rainfall. Grab your gilet though as winds can get nasty sometimes!
It's definitely an excellent climbing playground, though climbs are rather gentle. You can go as hard or light as you wish. Many climbs are famed in Vuelta a España.
Costa Blanca is home to very welcoming people and a good example of Spanish and Mediterranean culture. Foodies will be happy over here with the abundance of the freshest sea food. Valencia is the home of paella in the end! In your spare time there's no shortage of places of interest to visit be it a castle or a winery.

Alt de la Musara is a picturesque cycling climb situated in the Tarragona province of Catalonia. It has been used in the Volta a Catalunya professional race, most recently in 2017 when the riders descended this side. The climb on the Vilaplana side is characterized by a high number of hairpin bends, as it winds its way through forest towards the Prades Mountains. Very ocasionally the trees open out to offer some nice views looking back down the climb. Alt de la Musara is nominally open year round, with only very rare closures due to snow in winter.More
