Highlights of your trip
PROFESSIONAL GUIDING
We've got your back. Experienced local guides not only take you to the best places but also make sure you are good at all times. Be it a cycling technique advice or a local tale, you'll appreciate both.
COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATION
Enjoy a variety of accommodation along the tour, all of a comfortable 3/4 star standard. From unique and rural, to larger hotels with pools and facilities, you won't be disappointed.
EXPERIENCE A VARIETY OF TERRAIN
Cover the ground from Sierra Espuna Natural Park to Magina, riding through rural Spain. Discover cave-dwellings in Guadix, push your cycling with mountain climbs and take in the views from the Montes de Malaga Natural Park. This tour is both exhilarating and rewarding.
Weather
All year cycling at it's best - that's what makes Murcia an exiting cycling destination. Avoid summer months if you are too sensitive to heat or if you not in the mood of getting up early for the ride. But stick around for the rest of the year to have mild sun, little rain and comfortable weather.
Terrain
Murcia has got everything. You have some flats, a few mountain passes, and plenty of climbs to push your fitness. While the terrain isn't as intense as the Pyrenees, there is still a great amount of variety in the riding to give you the training that you need.
Culture
Spanish culture never disappoints. Any visit to Spain will show it's a patchwork of regions with their own spirit, culture and often language. Murcia boasts some great symbols of the Moorish presence that is still very well preserved. Check out Cartagena for the vibe, or go to the city of Murcia for some fine architecture amongst orange trees.
