In 7 days, you’ll cycle some of the best roads of the Italian Alps, rack up 675 km under your belt, and climb an astonishing 9,000 metres along the way.
From the lovely town of Trieste on the shores of the Adriatic Sea to Chiavenna, north of Lake Como in Lombardy. Cross the most stunning UNESCO labelled mountain landscapes and capture views across the Triglav National Park in Slovenia, the Julian and Carnic Alps, the fantastic Dolomites and finally the Ortles range.

DOLOMITES – ITALIAN ALPS – ITALY
A UNESCO destination that truly lives up to its reputation – this alpine spine of Europe covers diverse terrain, offers jaw-dropping views, and offers a challenge for every road cyclist. Taking on the Dolomites and Italian Alps should be done at least once in everyone's life. Over seven days, you will pass between Slovenia and Italy, ride on the edge of Switzerland, and see across to Austria. Breathtaking is an understatement.
Prepare well for your chosen season. The climate is moderate with highs of around 15ºC with mountain conditions, mostly sunny and clear skies. Winter months can see snow and get close to 0ºC.
A mix of fearsome and inviting terrain — there is something for everyone here. Take on the rugged terrain of the mountains for a real test of your fitness and skills, or opt for the more gentle passes and explore the area.
This tour dips in and out of several cultural regions. Italian, Slovene, Tyrolian, Austrian – you'll experience it all! All along the route, there are crossovers in folklore, cuisine, and culture from all the bordering nations.

Comfortable 2-3* Hotels
Stay in comfortable accommodations along the route. All have been carefully selected so you can rest and recovery each day after being in the saddle. They are well-positioned for the tour with secure bike storage for peace of mind.
Each day a support vehicle will carry your luggage on to the next destination so you can just ride with a smaller day back with essentials.
